E-Mentoring Program Kick Off Party

Fifty-seven Greenway Plaza employees and customers volunteered to mentor a Patterson student via e-mail. The goal of the program is to provide students with caring, positive, adult role models. Students will also benefit by practicing their technology, writing, and communications skills. The kick off at the school allowed the students to meet their mentor before the e-mailing began. Each mentor brought their student a gift with his or her name on it and the mentors had matching gifts each student had to find their mentor by matching their gift to the mentor with the same gift. Pizza and refreshments were served.
